Help Provide Books to Local Kids

Assembly Concurrent Resolution 62 proclaims the month of March of every year as Read Across California Month to raise awareness of the importance of reading to young children and independent reading among Californians.
State Senator Lou Correa and the Orange County Black Chamber of Commerce are partnering together to provide books for local kids!  Throughout the month of March, collect and donate gently used children's books.  They will be refurbished and donated back to the community.  Books can be dropped off at the Orange County Black Chamber of Commerce Office (2323 North Broadway, Suite302, Santa Ana, 92706).  If the office is closed, please place the books in the box by the door.

For more information please call (714) 558-4400 or email Jeanne.Tran@sen.ca.gov.
